Alan is the Musical Director of Loanhead Brass Roots, Newtongrange Junior Band and Composer in Residence for Brass for Africa.
During the "lockdown" of 2020 Alan wrote this piece for the musicians of all three organisations to play from their homes in Scotland and Africa, coming together for a virtual peformance where they played "As One"
